Cultivating Leaders, Healing Communities

Founded in The Gambia and expanded to Los Angeles, Girls Talk Organisation is a grassroots movement rooted in lived experience and community care. We foster a pipeline of youth leadership from West Africa to Southern California.
Our culturally responsive mentorship and healing-centered spaces empower young women to speak openly, develop leadership, and find support on their own terms, dismantling systemic barriers.
Healing, Leadership, Justice
We focus on three interconnected areas to cultivate resilient young women and advocate for a more equitable world.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Confidence & Leadership
Gender Justice & Systems Change
Providing healing circles and psychosocial support, we create safe spaces for emotional wellbeing and self-discovery.
Through mentorship and training, we empower young women to find their voice, develop leadership skills, and guide their communities.
Educating on reproductive rights and advocating against harmful practices, we equip young women to drive systemic change.
